Tis’ the season to be thankful! Thanksgiving is one of our favorite days of the year because it reminds us to give thanks and to count our blessings. December 17, 2017 CFAUC No.2 celebrated their annual Thanksgiving Day. With the leadership of Pastor Regino Indong and family together with the church members, family, friends and visitors they worship, praise and give thanks to God for everything that he have done to each and everyone’s life.

The Thanksgiving was themed in the Holy Scripture in Jonah 2:9 “But I with the voice of Thanksgiving will sacrifice to you; what I have vowed I will pay. Salvation belongs to the Lord.” CFAUC No.2 family strengthened more their faith to the Lord and do what they promise for they believe only our Lord God has the power to save us through his son Jesus Christ.

Part of the annual Thanksgiving celebration is Baby Dedication. Children are a gift from God. Psalm 127:3 proclaims that “Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from Him.” As believers we are called to recognize that children belong first and foremost to God. God in his goodness gives children as gifts to parents. They not only have the awesome responsibility of caring for this gift, but also the wonderful privilege of enjoying the gift. Because children belongs to God and are given by grace as gifts to parents, it is only proper and appropriate that children be dedicated back to God. This has been a tradition in CFAUC No. 2 their children are being dedicated back to God.
